Man Arrested For Fatal East Patchogue Shooting: SCPD
The 22-year-old was charged on Tuesday for allegedly shooting and killing a man outside a local home last week, police say.
EAST PATCHOGUE, NY - A Mastic man was arrested on Tuesday in connection to a fatal shootingin East Patchogue last week, according to Suffolk Police.
Following an investigation, 22-year-old Malik Roberts was arrested in Brentwood at 3:47 p.m. for killing Tyrell D. Smith in East Patchogue, police said.
Smith, 25, was found shot to death at a Taylor Avenue on Oct. 21. Roberts was charged with second degree murder.

He was held overnight at the Third Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Wednesday.
