Buchanan Democrats to Caucus Jan. 26

The Buchanan Democratic Committee will hold its annual Caucus Jan. 26. Nominations will be open for two Village Trustee positions.

Terms are up for Trustees Duane Jackson and Cesare Pasquale, who are expected to seek re-election, said Dan O’Neill, chairman of the Buchanan Democratic Committee.

The meeting will start at 7 p.m., at the offices of the Village Highway Department, Westchester Avenue, Buchanan, NY.

The Buchanan village board is comprised of the mayor, deputy mayor and three trustees. Trustees are elected to 2-year terms and are paid $5,000 annually.

Village elections are March 18, and polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
