Drunk-Driving Charge for Cortlandt Man Involved in Hit-and-Run on the Sprain Parkway

John G. Rice, 57, faces a charge of Driving While Intoxicated.

New York State troopers were dispatched to a hit-and-run auto accident on the Sprain Brook Parkway before 10 p.m. Nov. 27.

Police said their investigation revealed that Rice had fled the scene after the crash. He was apprehended a short time later and found to be intoxicated.

The Cortlandt resident was issued traffic tickets ordering him to appear before the Town of Greenburgh Court Dec. 11.
