Peekskill Election Update: Dems Hold Onto City Hall
The incumbents campaigned on economic growth and the challengers campaigned on civility in City Hall.

PEEKSKILL, NY — The Democrats held onto City Hall in Peekskill. In general, voters preferred the incumbents' arguments citing the city's economic growth under their management and saying they want to make sure it benefits all residents. Mayor Andre Rainey picked up 59 percent of the vote.
The challengers said City Hall is plagued by incivility and opaque decision making.
Here are unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections. Absentee and affidavit ballots must be counted before the election can be certified.
