Big Weekend Events All Around Town

is hosting an elegant Montreal Grand Prix viewing party Sunday to benefit Long Island Cares' Harry Chapin Food Bank.

It's just one of many big weekend events in Plainview and nearby.

TODAY's 5:

1. Ferrari Maserati invites the public to join them at 1:30 p.m. Sunday to watch the annual Canadian auto race on a big screen and in style. The dealership will have food tasting tables from Serata, Grill 454, Monsson, and Prime and along with signature cocktails from Tequila Avion. Hand rolled cigars, casino gaming tables, and a luxury watch display will also be on site. Guests are asked to make a minimum $50 donation. All of the proceeds will benefit

2. A fundraiser for the family of takes place Saturday from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at , owned by the Schatt family, at 140 Manetto Hill Road in Plainview. Organizers are inviting the entire community and show support for the Sadowski family. There will be raffles and children's activities during the event.
