2.      Italian Experience Festival

Why Go: Hear Italian music, eat Italian food, cultural information, vendors and children’s activities, rain or shine on the South Campus

Pricing: $6, $4 seniors over 65.

3.      Chamber Players International: Beethoven Festival

Why Go: Pianist SeanChen, violinist Kristin Lee and cellist Andrew Janas perform

4.      4. Fall Garden Celebration

Where/When: Farmingdale State College, 2350 Broadhollow Road., Farmingdale, 631-420-2075, Sunday, Sept. 18 @ 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Why Go: Get a chance to tour the teaching gardens with horticulture professors and you can purchase plants and flowers. Bring soil samples for pH analysis

5.    I Ought To Be in Pictures

Where/When: Arena Players in East Farmingdale, 296 Rt. 109, East Farmingdale, 516-293-0674, arenaplayers.org, weekly Friday and Saturday @ 8 p.m., Sunday @3 p.m. through Oct. 2.

Why Go: See Neil Simon’s comedy-drama where a 19 year old Brooklyn native hitches a ride to Los Angeles to take on Hollywood by surprise.
