Listen to Charlize Tuozzo's song, "Replay," in the story.

PLAINVIEW, NY — An 11-year-old singer from Long Island released "Replay," her first original single, in March. The song is available on platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and more.
Charlize Tuozzo, of Plainview, wrote the song, which is about going to a party and never wanting it to end.
"The point that I would like to make is for everyone to find happiness, whether it’s spending time with your friends and family or even just yourself, and even just dancing," Tuozzo told Patch.

Tuozzo started writing the song when she was 9 years old and said she has been waiting "so long" for its release. "Replay" was produced and recorded by Little Bird Big Sound in Georgia.
"I’m so excited that it is finally out and all my friends can listen to it," Tuozzo said. "I also recorded this last August when I was still 10 years old, my voice sounds a little younger. It’s crazy, but my voice is constantly changing."

Tuozzo wanted to thank everyone who has supported her and continues to do so in the "crazy journey" she is on. The wunderkind is working on her second song now, which she hopes will be ready by the end of the year.
"And!!! I’ll be performing at the Montauk Music Festival this May, I'm super excited about that," she said.
The Montauk Music Festival will mark her first two-day event where she will perform two 50-minute sets. She will also participate in Amateur Night at the Apollo in May.
The Tuozzos are currently working with the townships of Huntington, Babylon and Oyster Bay for their summer concerts events, though dates are still pending, said Charlize's mother, Delia. Charlize is also in the process of organizing a charity event for the spring.
