Bloomingdale’s Alexandra Karcev explained the themes given to each team and how they spoke to the season’s trends, saying, “There are five key trends this year for prom: black & white, neutrals, pretty in prints, vivid color, and white. Last year the trend was floral prints and pastels. Every year we host a prom event at all of our locations - we alter the theme and the event parameters each year so the event is a bit different every year.”
