A Blanket for the World, October 26, 2014, 10:30am

To a child, a blanket can be very important. It provides comfort, security, familiarity. (Think about Linus from Peanuts!) Jesus was lovingly wrapped in cloth when he was a defenseless, vulnerable new born. The Israelites constantly struggled with discovering, developing and demonstrating God’s comforting love and light to the world no matter the circumstances, powers and principalities at work. Come and hear the far reaching implications of living in the safekeeping of God. Rev. Dalton will reflect on Isaiah 49:1-6 (Old Testament) and Luke 2:1-7 (New Testament).
