Thinking of ordering flowers for that special someone on Valentine’s Day? You may want to think ahead this year. Determining a sound and secure date for early ordering can save you valuable time and money for your Valentine’s Day gifting in 2015.

What Happens in February

Ordinarily, a dozen roses from your florist should range between $60 and $65- Please take note that these roses are from an actual florist and not an order gatherer.

The owner of Port Chester Florist, claims that same $49 dollar arrangement jumps to $90 February 1st, based on what happened last year.

Consumers should use a REAL local florist, which often have the best quality flowers available. Local florists usually have special deals around this time of year, as they know people are usually pressed for time and mindful of how much money they spend. Flowers are seen as a social custom for Valentine’s Day, so it should be almost second nature to visit a real florist for the best possible selection.

One Other Tip for Saving

Port Chester Florist, also suggests to save a few bucks schedule delivery for Friday, February 13th, not Saturday, Valentine’s Day. I’m not so cheap that I would suggest sending your sweetie flowers on January 30th instead of on Valentine’s Day just to save money. But with some places, if you pre-order in advance for February you’ll pay a lot less so you don’t waste your money.
