Youth Classes at Clay Art Center

Clay Art Center Offers after school and weekend classes for children, tweens and teens!

Youth and teen clay classes are offered after school and on the weekend at Clay Art Center. Youth have fun working on weekly sculptural projects that test the limits of clay and imaginations. Teens and tweens learn the basics of using the potter’s wheel in a supportive environment. All students are encouraged to explore their own ideas while learning a new skill set, expanding their creative problem solving capabilities while immersing themselves in this messy and fun media.

Winter Classes begin January 20, 2014. Interested participants can find a full listing on our website. The goal of our classes is to offer a new way to express and engage in self discovery in a welcoming and supportive environment. Clay Art Center has partial and full scholarships available for children, awarded on a need basis.
