2 Suffer Minor Injuries After SUV Crashes Into Setauket Doctor's Office

An SUV crashed into a doctor’s office in Setauket on Wednesday afternoon, causing minor injuries to the driver and a doctor’s office employee.

The crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. at the Neurological Surgery building located at 24 Research Way in the Stony Brook Technology Center.

The driver and employee, who was in the office at the time of the crash, were transported to the Stony Brook University Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The Setauket Fire Department responded to the scene and deemed the building unsafe to enter until further notice. A Town of Brookhaven building inspector was called to the scene to investigate along with a fire marshal.
