3rd Annual Subway Series Fundraiser raises over $3000 for local nonprofit Strength for Life

Strength for Life would like to thank the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division 9 and
Brian Nealis for organizing the 2nd Annual “Subway Series” held on 8/1 at Citifield.
Enormous effort was put forth by Mr. Nealis to organize this event and by the AOH to
support this event. Over $3000 was raised through their efforts. The event included
coach bus, extravagant tailgate and ticket to the Met vs. Yankee’s game held at Citifield.
The AOH is a fraternal organization bonded by Irish Catholic Heritage. Their core
mission is to sustain a loyal commitment to God and Country, to protect the sacred
traditions of their noble ancestors, to support Irish people in their quest for a united, just
and independent nation, and for the promotion of civic participation in charitable causes.
