83-Year-Woman Drives SUV Into Long Island Office Building

SETAUKET, NY - An 83-year-old woman was taken to the hospital after she crashed her SUV into an office building in Setauket, Suffolk Police said.

The woman drove her 2010 Hyundai into the glass front panel of 3 Technology Drive at 12:51 p.m. She was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for evaluation. The Brookhaven Town fire marshal and building inspector responded.

The woman was treated at the scene by the Setauket Fire Department, which also helped SCPD's Emergency Services Unit remove the vehicle from the building.
