The fundraiser will be held at a Rocky Point restaurant in February. There will be raffle baskets to support the girl's family.
PORT JEFFERSON STATION, NY — A fundraiser was organized to help a young girl, Hannah, whose family says she was diagnosed with cancer for the third time. The Galinski family is from Port Jefferson Station.
The HannahStrong fundraiser is scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 21 at Maui Chop House at 49 Route 25A, Rocky Point.
"Please join us to help raise money for the Galinski Family to make sure we take good care of them all through this extremely difficult time," it says on the event's Facebook page. "Bills for sick children just pile up. Her parents have to take off work to see her through her treatments. We will do whatever we can do to assist them so they can focus on getting her well."
