
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Riverhead Police Department are looking to identify and find a man they say broke into and stole from a restaurant in Wading River last month.
Police say the man entered the North Fork Bacon eatery on Jan. 24, at approximately 12:30 a.m. and removed an unknown amount of cash from the register.

He was described as wearing a hooded sweatshirt, gloves, pants, and sneakers, police said.

The man’s image was captured on surveillance camera while in the area before he entered the restaurant. He may have been seen by passing motorists, according to police.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
