Port Jeff Ensembles Perform at NYSSMA Majors Festival
The 7th and 8th grade orchestra and chamber ensemble performed at the recent NYSSMA Major Organization Festival.
From Port Jeff Schools: Music students from Port Jefferson Middle School’s seventh- and eighth- grade orchestra and chamber ensemble performed at the recent New York State School Music Association Major Organization Festival at Sachem East High School.
Conducted by music teacher Christian Neubert, both ensembles performed several pieces for a panel of adjudicators, who evaluated them on quality of performance and level of musicianship. The district congratulates the orchestra on its outstanding musical performance.
