Starved Dog Leads to Animal Cruelty Arrest in Suffolk: SPCA
BREAKING: Authorities say they were able to find the person responsible for Prada, an emaciated dog who recently nursed puppies.

A Calverton woman was arrested Monday and charged with animal cruelty after a dog she was responsible for was found emaciated, Suffolk County SPCA said.
According to authorities, the 2-year-old dog name Prada, who recently nursed puppies, was found and traced back to 35-year-old Rahshell Gamble.
Gamble was arrested and charged with animal cruelty. She will appear in First District Court in Central Islip on Feb. 23, 3017.

Suffolk SPCA Chief Roy Gross said animal cruelty will not be tolerated in Suffolk County.
