Teacher

Why do you believe the nominee should be recognized or honored?

"Despite juggling her full-time job now out of her home, raising two boys and her husband taking a pay cut, [Gina] spends many hours each work organizing a food drive for her community. The people she collects and delivers food for do not have transportation to get to the local food pantries.

She also goes above and beyond planning school-wide fundraisers such as color runs, pennies for patients, food donations, coat drives, as well as many staff celebrations like birthdays and baby showers. During remote learning, she has taught numerous technology classes to staff and runs a lot of professional development."

What's one thing you want everyone to know about your hero?

"Gina is the most generous and thoughtful person I know. She treats every staff member and every student with respect and kindness. Gina inspires everyone around her to be better."

Thank you for all that you do, Gina!
