Port Washington Blood Drive to Be Held Following Officer's Serious Injury
The drive will be held later this month
A blood drive will be held in Port Washington in response to a police officer who required multiple blood transfusions after he was seriously injured during a police escort Saturday.
The drive will be held Monday. Feb. 20 from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Flower Hill Hose Company Fire House, located on 12 Haven Avenue.
All donors are encouraged, especially those with A+ blood.
