All Lanes Reopen After Overturned Tractor-Trailer Causes LIE Traffic Jam
The crash closed a portion of the expressway in both directions Wednesday afternoon.

All eastbound and westbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway are now open.

The Long Island Expressway is closed in both directions from Exits 33 to 32 in the North Hills and Lake Success area due to a tractor-trailer crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon, police say.
Traffic is reportedly backed up for miles after the tractor-trailer overturned in the eastbound lanes, with a portion of the truck landing in the westbound lanes, according to ABC 7.
Expect delays.
