• A 60th birthday gift that gives back to the Port Washington community and beyond (longislandpress.com) — Port Washington resident Kenneth Daly marked his 60th birthday by launching a "60‑for‑60" scholarship campaign, already raising more than $325,000 at a North Hempstead Country Club fundraiser. His Daly Family Scholarship, inspired by his own life-changing aid, now tops $1 million and includes $50,000 awards over four years specifically available to Port Washington high school students.
