Police: Man Robs Woman at Knifepoint in Greenvale
Authorities were able to identify the robber thanks to DNA evidence left at the scene of the robbery on Tuesday.

A Bronx man was arrested for putting a knife to a 72-year-old woman’s throat and stealing her jewelry in Greenvale Tuesday night, police said.
According to authorities, the woman was putting packages into her car at 90 Northern Boulevard at 6:30 p.m. when Benis Solis, 24, grabbed her from behind, put a knife to her throat, pushed her halfway into the car and forcibly stole her ring.
The suspect fled the scene on foot.

Authorities were able to identify the robber thanks to DNA evidence left at the scene of the robbery. Solis was arrested at his home in the Bronx on Wednesday without incident.
He is charged with robbery in the first degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
