Cops Charge Man in East Meadow Woman's Murder
Woman was found inside a Prospect Avenue home last month, police said.

Nassau Police have charged a man in the murder of East Meadow woman last month.
Hector Bejerano, 53, of East Meadow, was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Mirian Bejerano, cops said Thursday. He will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday.
While the two have children together, police could not confirm whether the two were married at the time of the murder.

Cops said they received a 911 call at around 4 p.m. on April 28 about an unconscious woman inside an East Meadow home. Responding officers found Mirian Bejarano, 52, of East Meadow, lying on the floor inside a Prospect Avenue home, cops said.
Bejarano was pronounced dead at 4:07 p.m. by a Nassau AMT, officials said.

Police have not disclosed the cause of the victim’s death.
