Port Boys Lacrosse Advances to Playoff Semifinals

The Port Washington Boys Lacrosse team has advanced to the semifinals after defeating Oceanside 13-10 in the first round of the playoffs last week.

The Vikings will verse Syosset on Wednesday, May 20 in the next round of the playoffs.

The game kicks off at 5:30 p.m. at Hofstra University’s Shuart Stadium.

The team advanced into the championship season after completing their best regular season in more than a decade. The Vikings’ regular season ended with a 12-3 record.

The Port Washington Lacrosse Booster tent will be set up for a potluck tailgate. People are encouraged to bring food and drinks to share. Those attending will meet in the parking lot to the left off Gerald Street (stadium entrance) between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
