Port Washington's 18th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting

The free event features community singing, a visit from Santa, a live nativity scene and more.

Expect a large turnout for Port Washington’s 18th Annual Christmas Tree Lighting on Sunday, which will be filled with free fun, including a visit from Santa himself.

The celebration kicks off at 4:30 p.m. at Blumenfeld Family Park at the Landmark on Main Street.

Expect many attractions and forms of entertainment, including a Christmas Pageant with a live nativity scene and music provided by chorus members from The Lutheran Church and St. Peter’s Church, which will be accompanied by a Brass Band.

This holiday event has been organized for the past 18 years by The Christmas Tree Lighting Committee made up of Port Washington residents and business owners.
