23-Year-Old Killed In Shooting At Crown Heights Bike Shop: Cops
The man shot Nicholas Isaac after an argument on Nostrand Avenue on Saturday and then rode away on a scooter, cops said.

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Cops are searching for a man who shot and killed a 23-year-old at a Crown Heights bike shop over the weekend.
Nicholas Isaac, who lived in Clinton Hill, was shot multiple times at the 662 Nostrand Ave. storefront around 4 p.m. Saturday after he got into an argument with the suspected shooter, police said.
The suspect, caught on surveillance video holding a gun, fled the scene on a black scooter down the sidewalk.

Police sources told the Daily News that Isaac and the man had gotten into the dispute outside the store and that the 23-year-old ran inside and closed the door to try and escape the gunfire.
He was rushed to Kings County Hospital with gunshot wounds to his legs and torso, where he was pronounced dead, cops said.

Police said the suspect stands approximately 6'0" tall and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black shirt, black pants, black shoes and carrying a blue backpack.


The incident is one of several recent shootings in Crown Heights as the NYPD and city officials struggle to address an increase in shootings citywide.
Just days before the Nostrand Avenue shooting, four people were hurt and one was killed during a shooting on President Street that then spilled onto Classon Avenue. Cops are also investigating the death of a 27-year-old who was found shot dead in Lincoln Terrace/Arthur S. Somers Park.
