Jon LaDeau is a guitarist, songwriter, and singer from Brooklyn, NY. His blues, country, and rock and roll influences blend into an original sound that is all his own. Over the past several years he has performed with his band, as a solo artist, and as a sideman in nearly every state of the U.S, Switzerland, Italy, and Austria. He is currently busy playing with his band in support of his new album, released May 2012.
New York Music Daily
[...]An adept blues guitarist…distantly ominous[...]
The Deli Magazine
[...]At times, his voice recalls the George Harrison from ‘All Things Must Pass’, a rocker who still understands the roots of his sound.[...]
Lonesome Highway
[...]Jon LaDeau has a voice that is a distinctive enough presence, there are hints of a young Neil Young.

10pm- Sean 0'Sean
Genre: Folk
Sean Kiely has been playing as Sean 0'Sean since 2012. His songs are weird and beautiful, like a gnarled, lonely tree. Last year he released Arch Envy (2012, Mecca Lecca Recording Co.), a collection of songs that are at heart pop tunes, but ones that are distorted by a charismatic and nervous tension. Arch Envy consists of nine fidgety songs full of both overwhelming panic about our modern condition, and a genuine sense of collective wonder.. Mixing the colors of west-coast pop with the mechanical rhythms of east-coast art rock, Jersey City-based Sean 0’Sean carves his own angles on Arch Envy, using unusual harmonies and declarative statements with hints of later Pavement and Elvis Costello.

11pm- Grey Alone
Genre: Ambient music, soul music, devotional music
For fans of: Billie Holiday, Meshell Ndegeocello, John Cage, Arvo Part, Bill Frisell
Grey has played guitar and sang in very big rooms, very small rooms, with people that many people know, and people that not quite as many people know. He uses the guitar to build distant environments, and uses his voice to sing and say the words that he means to say. In his own music he tries to find ways to make the parts that he likes, last longer than they actually do. Not forcefully, but thoughtfully, and hopefully not boringly. He will try very hard for you.
" [Grey's] effortlessly lyrical high tenor can easily lead anyone to imagine So Percussion is really Michael McDonald and the Doobie Brothers goofing off."
- Peter Goddard The Toronto Star
about grey mcmurray and itsnotyouitsme -
“Reasonable listeners may disagree as to whether the ambient, post-Minimalist music produced by the duo itsnotyouitsme — Caleb Burhans, violinist, and Grey McMurray, guitarist — is chamber music or rock. But that’s beside the point: these musicians live in both worlds, and their instrumental meditations are structurally fascinating and at times meltingly beautiful.”
