NYPD Reveal Suspect For Crown Heights Bike Shop Killing: Cops

CROWN HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — Police are asking for the public's help to find a suspect in a July shooting that killed a 23-year-old at a local bike shop.

Police revealed Wednesday that they are searching for 62-year-old Robert Bryson for questioning about the homicide. Bryson appears to have been identified as the suspected shooter in surveillance photos police released shortly after the July 18 killing, according to the release.

Nicholas Isaac, who lived in Clinton Hill, was shot multiple times at the 662 Nostrand Ave. bike shop around 4 p.m. after he got into an argument with the suspected shooter, police said.

Police sources told the Daily News that Isaac and the man had gotten into the dispute outside the store and that the 23-year-old ran inside and closed the door to try and escape the gunfire.

The shooter can be seen on surveillance video speeding away on a black scooter down the sidewalk after the incident.

Police said Bryson is approximately 6'0" in height and was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a black shirt, black pants, black shoes and he carried a blue backpack.
