PROSPECT HEIGHTS, BROOKLYN — A Prospect Heights sushi joint was shuttered this week by health inspectors who found evidence of mice, among other violations, city records show.

Sumi Sushi at 287 Flatbush Ave. received 50 violation points for mice, foods kept at unsafe temperatures and improper thawing procedures during a Health Department inspection on Tuesday, records show.

Inspectors also found mice — as well as adulterated raw food and conditions that attract vermin — during a previous inspection on Oct. 27, Health Department records show.

Sumi Sushi first took over the Flatbush Avenue restaurant space between St. Marks Avenue and Prospect Place in 2015, Bklyner reported at the time.
