Toddler Yoga Your Family Through Coronavirus Isolation, BPL Says
Get your youngster started on a downward dog while you wait for a downward coronavirus curve.
BROOKLYN, NEW YORK — Stuck at home waiting for a downward coronavirus curve might just be the best time to get toddlers started on their downward dogs.
An online toddler yoga class Thursday by Brooklyn Public Library gives cooped up parents and their youngsters a chance to stretch through social distancing.
All Brooklyn libraries — in addition to library across New York City and virtually all but "essential" businesses — are closed to stop the coronavirus' spread.

But BPL has stepped up focus on its virtual library, which features popular virtual storytime hours for children.

Yoga begins with a 10 to 10:30 a.m. Musical Yoga Storytime. Space is limited for the actual Yoga For Toddlers class from 10:30 to 11 a.m. so parents are asked to register.
It's designed for toddlers from 18 months to 3 years old in mind. Parents must have either a computer with audio and a webcam or a smartphone to take part.
Families who want a less stretchy, more traditional storytime can check out on hosted by Cortelyou Library on the FaceBook page Friday at 2 p.m.
