• 2 Legionnaires' Disease Cases Confirmed At Queens Apartment Complex (patch.com) — Queens residents at North Shore Towers are being alerted after two cases of Legionnaires' disease were confirmed in the apartment complex. Health officials say Legionella bacteria has not yet been found in the building's water system and stress there is no broader community risk, even as the city recalls recent deadly outbreaks in Manhattan and the Bronx.
