Police: Center Moriches Woman Charged With DWI After Hitting Bicyclist
The bicyclist was transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center.

A Center Moriches woman was arrested on a DWI charge after she hit a bicyclist on County Road 105 in Riverhead on Monday night, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Police responded to the scene of an accident on County Road 105 near Hubbard Avenue shortly after 8:15 p.m.
Louise Stacey, 71, was driving north by the Hubbard Avenue Bridge and struck a bicyclist identified as Peter Ryan, police said.

Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance responded to the scene and transported Ryan to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.
Stacey was placed under arrest at the scene on charges of DWI and unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
