Police: Jamesport Man Arrested After Cutting Riverhead Woman in Stomach With a Screwdriver
The incident occurred on Saturday afternoon.

A Jamesport man was arrested for an incident that occurred on Saturday afternoon where a Riverhead woman was cut in the stomach with a screwdriver, according to Riverhead Town Police.
Police are investigating an argument that occurred on Main Road in Jamesport that resulted in the woman getting injured.
Alvah Randall Jr., 28, was arrested on Monday and charged with second degree assault and second degree harassment, police said.

He was held pending afternoon arraignment at the Riverhead Justice Court.
