Ardsley, Dobbs Ferry, Hastings, Irvington Middle Schools Ranked Among Best Middle Schools in New York

The schools in all three districts were ranked among the best in New York, among 34 lower Hudson Valley middle schools on this year's list.

Niche.com has released its 2016 rankings of public middle schools across the country, and the middle schools in the Rivertowns made the New York list.

Ardsley Middle School clocked in at No. 13. 

Farragut Middle School in Hastings was ranked No. 31.

Dobbs Ferry Middle School clocked in at No. 41.

Last year, 33 lower- and mid-Hudson Valley schools made the list in Niche's 2015 rankings.

A high ranking, according to Niche, indicates that a school “is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students and faculty, and the students are very happy with their experiences.”
