RVC to Appeal Bonefish Grill Ruling
Village to appeal court's decision to reverse ruling on Bonefish Grill occupancy certification and parking issues, a report says.

Rockville Centre officials will appeal the Nassau State Supreme Court’s decision to reverse their decision on Bonefish Grill’s hours and parking.
After the majority of the $1 million construction had been completed on the Sunrise Highway restaurant, the village zoning board said it would not issue a certificate of occupancy, according to Newsday. The village said construction was not completed on time.
Bonefish took the case to court which ruled that the valet requirements were “arbitrary and capricious,” according to the report.

“This . . . decision of Judge [Steven M.] Jaeger, although wrong on the facts and the law, is not surprising,” said village administrator Keith Spadaro, according to the report. “The ultimate decision here will come from the impartial appellate courts, and the Village is confident that this decision will be overturned.” Read more here.
