The QDogs came back to defeat the former first place Crash 17-14 Thursday thanks to a team effort.
"The QDogs do not quit," said the team's shortstop Irv Schulman.
The Crash held a 9-4 lead at the top of the third before the QDogs began their rally in the top of the fourth to close the gap to 9-5 on a Joe Sandasiro single to bring in Yan Zislis.

Schulman continued the QDogs rally with a run off a Dan Hurwitz single to give the QDogs the go ahead 10-9 run after a Scott Tillison run tied it at 9-9.
The Crash gave the QDogs a scare, trailing by only 13-11 heading into the top of the seventh before the QDogs scored four more runs for the eventual 17-14 victory.

"Everybody contributed and we stepped up," Schulman said.
Crash Coach Kevin Plomaritis will look to gain redemption in the postseason, which starts July 19.
"We'll get them in the playoffs," he said.
The Crash had several costly errors that likely cost them the game.
Mark Cosmedy had one walk in seven innings pitched for the Crash. Scott Giuliano pitched seven innings for the QDogs.
The Crash look to bounce back Friday against the sixth place Foul Balls while the QDogs play the same opponent Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at Port Chester Middle School.
The QDogs and the Crash, both with an 8-3 record, are now tied for first place in the Rye Brook Men's Softball North League, at least until the Crash play Friday at RSS Field in a game slated for 6:30 p.m.
