Walk to Fund Pancreatic Cancer Research Set in Rye

The fundraising event will be help at Rye Playland along the Sound Shore.

Funding research to eventually find a cure is the goal of the seventh annual Westchester Pancreatic Cancer Research Walk.

The 2-mile walk along Long Island Sound will be held Sunday, April 17 at Rye Playland.

Sponsored by the Lustgarten Foundation, the walk raises money 100 percent of which goes directly to pancreatic cancer research.

The fee for the walk if you pre-register is $50. The fee on the day of the walk is $60.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the walk will start at 9:30 a.m.
