Driver Critically Hurt in Farmingville Crash
The single-car crash occurred Thursday morning.

FARMINGVILLE, NY - A 30-year-old man is in critical condition following a car crash in Farmingville Thursday morning.
According to Suffolk Police, John Moretti, of Manorville, was driving a 2006 BMW eastbound on Horseblock Road when he apparently lost control of the vehicle, crossed over the westbound lanes and struck a fence and tree in front of 667 Horseblock Road at 10:05 a.m.
Moretti was transported by Farmingville Rescue to Stony Brook University Hospital.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to call the Sixth Squad at 631-854-8652.
