Man Robs Holbrook Bank

HOLBROOK, NY - Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Holbrook on Monday evening.

According to police, a man entered the Chase bank located at 991 Main St. at 6:05 p.m. and presented a teller a note demanding cash. The teller complied with the demand and the man fled on foot in an unknown direction.

The robber was described as white, with a full beard, in his mid-30s, about 5-foot-10 and with a medium build. He was wearing a light-colored baseball cap and a green and tan long-sleeve shirt.

Detectives are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

The same bank was robbed last May.
