About the author:
Joyce Berardi studied at Long Island University and received her National Certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. Her favorite and most memorable place to work was Labor and Delivery.

She lives on Long Island with her husband, Carlo. Joyce has two sons, Andrew and Marc, a daughter-in-law, Laura, a granddaughter, Capri, and enjoys watching true crime shows.
