The Bayport Heritage Association and Suffolk County Department of Parks, in conjunction with the National League of American Pen Women, will host an art exhibit at Meadow Croft, the Roosevelt summer estate on Middle Road at the Bayport-Sayville border, on Sunday, July 11, 2010 (rain date: July 18th) from 1 PM to 4 PM.
Local artists will be painting, en plein aire, and exhibiting their paintings on the front porch and lawn of Meadow Croft's main house. There will also be some poetry reading and an 'open mike' available.
Admission to this July outdoor event is free and open to the public. Guests are urged to bring lawn chairs or a beach blanket.
