The Long Island Maritime Museum's first annual Jingle Bell Walk will be held on
Saturday, December 11th, 2010
Register now to join us at this fun-filled family event for a great cause! Half of the walk registration fees will be donated to Shelter Link - an organization providing volunteer services to the Town of Islip animal shelter. So, dress up the family in your most festive holiday attire and head over to the museum! Bring along a pet care item (food, toys, etc.) to place in our Shelter Link collection bin.
- Free jingle bells for everyone regsitered
- Free holiday stockings for all children registered - along with stocking stuffers handed out throughout the course.
- Walk to be held entirely on the grounds of the museum
- Readings of the Polar Express in the museum library
- Yummy treats and beverages
- Photos with Santa after he arrives via the Great South Bay by boat!
