
SAYVILLE, NY- A 43-year-old man was arrested soon after he robbed a Sayville bank on Thursday evening, police said.
Daniel Suker, 43, of 202 Lakeland Ave., Apt. B2, in Sayville, is charged with third degree robbery.
According to police, Suker entered the TD Bank, located at 188 Main St., approached a teller and produced a note demanding cash at about 5:20 p.m. The teller complied and Suker fled the scene, police said.

A short time later, Suker was located a short distance from the bank and arrested, police said.
Suker was held overnight at the Fifth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Friday.
