Pictures from a really old laptop

A client recently brought me a very very old laptop. It was probably a really good machine back in 1995. The computer would not start so I took the hard drive out of it, connected it to a special cable that I have and all I could hear was clicking coming out of it. Is the drive dead? Well I used an old trick by putting it in the freezer for a few hours (yes next to the steaks). I plugged it in again after freezing it, my newer computer was able to recognize the drive and I was able to recover 100's of old photographs of my client's son when he was first born. If you have an old machine and can't figure out how to get the pictures off of it, send me a note and I'll try to help you out.
