A friend of ours just left for a trip to Portugal. We couldn't stop talking about how they are going to LOVE Portugal. My husband and I went in 2010.
This photo of a door, could be a door in any city in Europe. It is in fact, Tavira, Portugal which is known for its colorful facades and tile work. This has the door framed in marble. Notice the balcony, electrical wires, peeling paint, and details in the door, as well as the design in the street paving stones, very common throughout Portugal. I like the addition of the tree by the front door. Would I go back? Definitely!
