Missing Person Leads To Backyard Searches: Cops
Residents were alarmed to see police searching their yards Wednesday night.
MASTIC, NY — The hunt for a missing person led to backyard searches in Mastic Wednesday night.
According to a social media post, residents said they saw police searching their yards on Breston Drive West, as well as a helicopter overhead.
On Thursday, Suffolk County Police said a missing person search originated on Mayfield Drive around 8 p.m; the missing individual was found, police said.
