Police: Motorcyclist Seriously Hurt in Bay Shore Crash
Crash occurred on Spur Drive South early Saturday, police say.
A Central Islip man was seriously hurt in a motorcycle crash in Bay Shore early Saturday, police said.
According to police, Winston Samuel Jr., 27, was riding a 2007 Yamaha east on Spur Drive South, east of Abbey Lane, when he lost control shortly before 2 a.m. Samuel was ejected from the bike, which ran off the roadway, police said.
Samuel was transported to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where he is in serious condition.

Detectives are asking anyone with information on the crash to call the Third Squad at 631-854-8352.
The crash occurred less than hour before another motorcycle crash in East Farmingdale that killed an 18-year-old from Bay Shore.
