Bridgehampton Fire Department to Host 'Wet Down' Sunday, New Trucks Commissioned

BRIDGEHAMPTON, NY - The community is invited to help the Bridgehampton Fire Department commission its new tanker and fire police trucks.

An open house is slated for Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The "wet-down" begins at 2:30 p.m. In addition, the fire department is also celebrating EMS Week with free blood pressure readings and instruction in hands only CPR. Plus, the Suffolk medevac helicopter will be flying in, weather permitting and barring its not needed for an emergency, at 3 p.m.

The event promises to provide food and fun for the whole family, organizers say.
