Driver Entrapped In 2-Car Crash: Police
The crash closed County Road 31 for a period of time but the road is now open, police say.
WESTHAMPTON, NY — A driver was entrapped after a two-car crash on County Road 31 in Westhampton Thursday afternoon, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, the crash, which involved a pickup and sedan, took place at 2:12 p.m. just off exit 63 of the Sunrise Highway, near the Suffolk County Water Authority.
One driver was entrapped and East Quogue Fire Department responded, police said.

The roadway was closed in both directions currently for the investigation but later reopened in both directions, police said.
